Our first "Spa Night"

 Daddy went to a basketball game Friday night, so Laney and I decided to have a special night.  We ordered a pizza (with 2 brownies from Davanni's) and had a TV room "Peckneck" (picnic).  Then we went upstairs for a huge bubble bath, full body "scrub and moisturizing treatment" and manicures.  Laney even let me give her a shampoo and style!

 She has her 3 year photo session this morning with our friend Ali, in Elko.  We're hoping we can catch up with Laney's friend, Mia, who also lives in Elko.  Laney was the "Star" this week at school and we made a huge poster with that she colored, added photos and stickers, and her favorite things. She continues to amaze us with the funny things she says (she was putting her pants on yesterday "All by myself!" and let out a huge sigh and said it was "SO frusteratin'!"). We have so much fun playing with her  and watching her play.  She is so creative.  and smart.  I'm not biased though.  Not. at. all.

She's 3 (part II)

 We had our visit with Dr. Baker today and Laney is a healthy 3 year old!  She didn't need any shots, so that was good.  She did have a hearing/eye sight screen and passed with flying colors.  It was a little work to get her to cooperate, but when she finally did, she did great!  I was so proud of her when she pointed to the right pictures during her hearing screen.
 She is 30 lbs and 38 inches tall.  Dr. Baker talked about a 4 year then 5 year and I realized how quickly these years go by.  I just love being home with her and watching her learn and grow.

Today is Laney's 3rd Birthday!
 I can't believe how much she's grown- especially after looking at older posts and photos. Laney has eaten one of her three allowed "bupcakes" already.  She has one to eat with Abbie, Bear and Stephen-o- when they get home from school and one to eat with Granny and Nick-Nick.  We will celebrate with more family this weekend.

We had an amazing holiday season and also welcomed a new cousin on the Hubers' side.  We love you Baby Cameron!
